Nate Dear Wins Shark of the Month - June

( Warning the following comments are written by a very biased mother!)

Last night Nate Dear won the of Shark of the Month.  A complete surprise to the whole family - the brand new camera and new lens were left at home with no thought given to who might win this month's Shark of the Month.

Darin commended Nate on how he sets a great example to the rest of the team as a boy who takes pride in how he plays every week - always giving it his best shot for himself and for the team.  He said he's consistently in the best but it's hard to give recognition every week to the same players so this is acknowledgment that it is noticed when you regularly play well.

Darin also commented that Nate is the first boy in all the time he has coached who asked him after the game who was going to win Shark of the Month - Darin loves an attitude of  "you dont ask you dont get".  (Can you imagine how many times he's going to be asked now????)

He also congratulated him on his efforts to bounce the ball every time he gets it despite the weather and the fact that it sometimes goes astray (OK I just made that bit up!!).

Not a natural lover of training Nate just loves getting out on the ground on Sundays and giving it his best shot.  Not afraid of a contest or getting in and getting the ball he's also referred to as a "gentle giant" by lots of other parents who regularly watch him play sport, with only having "eyes for the ball".

One of the nicest, generous and most kind boys you could ever meet ( I really didn't make any of that up), a deserving winner of Shark of the Month for June.

Well done Nate - Mum and Dad are extremely proud of you!!!
